Trip back home

We have officially recovered from our recent trip back 'home.' It turned out to be such a good trip. We didn't even have to do a lot of running around to visit. Most everyone came to us. Soooo nice. Unfortunately, I only got my camera out one time and it was when Cassie came down to play with the girls. They had such a great time. Cousins are so much fun!

Anabelle and Cassie are a year apart, but almost exactly the same size. It was fun to catch them 'helping' each other walk thru the garden.

We got to spend a day with the Taylors and even had an 'adult night.' On Valentines day we went to dinner with the Montgomery's and the Hutchins. I cannot tell you how funny it was when we realized how much our idea of an awesome night has changed. Ten years ago, meeting at Chilli's at 6pm, would not have been such a cool night, but man did we feel like rock stars without children. :)

We did get to make it for one of Papaw's basketball games. They had a good time watching the cheerleaders and the mascot. Taylor told us that even though papaw's team was wearing white, her favorite team was the red team. :0

Our Favorite Days

The girls and I had a great Friday. No getting ready for school. We just got to hang out and play. The girls had a little Mac and Trees on the back porch. I know, you are jealous. If you play your cards right, I might give you the recipe. :) It was the first pretty day in a while and everyone was healthy again. I mentioned to Taylor that my favorite kind of day is the day that she doesn't have school and we are all there together and just get to play. She agreed, then Anabelle piped up.
A: My favorite day is when Taylor is at school and I'm at Hobby Lobby with my Mommy.

Maybe we've made one too many trips to Hobby Lobby lately.
