Little Hands

These adorable little hand prints have been on my window since Tuesday. I'd like to say it is because they are just so cute, I can't bear to part with them. Honestly, I just haven't gotten to them yet. This is such a fun time in the life of a munchkin. She is doing her belly crawl EVERYWHERE. Man, this kid is fast! She's pulling up on everything and adoring her big sisters. They are just as in love with her. If they hear even a little peep coming from her room during nap time, they are begging to go see her.

This is our happy Friday lunch time. Anabelle pulled the highchair over to be close to her. Look at that little tooth poking through. Poor kid is almost 10 months old and only has one and a half teeth.

I am drinking from my saucer today in Alabama....

My little helpers

The girls ask at least once a day if they can change Caroline's diaper. Isn't that weird? I can't imagine a big brother doing that. Anyway, today I gave in and boy was it funny. They were rushing around, saying things like, "Hurry! Hand me another wipe!!!" Let me make it completely clear, this was just a minorly wet diaper. I would never throw them under the bus by starting them out with something as serious as a dirty diaper. Note Caroline's complete bliss.

"MOMMY!!! SHE WON'T BE STILL!!!!" Welcome to my world kid.

After a great little adventure, we ended up with a diaper on...kinda. Notice that I didn't move from my position as photographer, but each of the three girls ended in a different position.
They also picked up on the whole, 'she'll be a little more still if you give her something to play with,' theory...thus the shoe.
I know, I'm brave...no blanket to protect the carpet against possible accidents. I like to live on the edge these days.

Upward, Upward, Grant our Wish...

All we want to hear is swish! swish! swish! That is the one cheer that we continuously hear echoing through our house. Did I say CONTINUOUSLY? Because it IS continuously. I'll be so glad when we have another practice this week and hopefully get a new cheer. Taylor had an amazing time at her game Saturday. Despite FRIGID temps all five of us made it to the gym only 20 minutes late and all but three of us had jackets. Oh, I know you are intimidated by my Mom of the Year trophy.
We were running late OF COURSE, so all four of us (minus Caroline) worked as a team on our way to the gym FLUFFING new pom pons. Let me tell you they are serious about Upward. Both the cheerleaders and players were announced individually over the loud speaker as they ran through the ballon tunnel and past the smoke machine. It was a hoot. This is a far cry from my days playing in the parochial league basketball in LR. For the first time in a long time, Taylor looked tiny. I LOVED IT!
Of course Anabelle was not going to be left out. She insisted on wearing her cheerleading uniform too. She was not nearly as sad at the picture portrays. She actually had two different buddies to play with during the games.

and waiting...and waiting...and waiting...

The girls school was closed today. They announced it at about 3 pm yesterday. All in anticipation of the snow today. It did snow (for about an hour off and on), but it never really stuck to the ground. Thankfully we did make it outside for about 10 minutes in the pinnacle of the snow. We waited all day long for it to come back and it never did. They still had fun on the free day!

9 months old

What a big girl. Just within the last week she has started pulling up a little.

She isn't the typical crawler. This is a video of her from Christmas...It's really fun to watch.

And yes, she does have other clothes....

Rewind to Christmas

The girls in the car on the way to Ark..totally oblivious that I am taking a picture. How did we survive before DVD players in the car?

Leaving cookies for Santa
Caroline enjoying her favorite Christmas item...Tissue paper

Anabelle with her new bike

Taylor with hers

Anabelle checking out Uncle Jared's gift. I honestly think that out of all the over abundance of gifts both girls were most excited about the Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer from Aunt Brandi. How well she knows my germophobe girls. :)

Last picture is just because...
