silly girl had a great time on her birthday. I'm not sure that she understands that it isn't her birthday anymore. She woke up on the twenty third saying, "I told you it was going to be my birthday from now on."

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMER
Needless to say, we have not left the house today and it is GREAT. We have spent a little while going thru clothes in the girls room. I was trying to keep Caroline awake for a little while so I put her on the girls bed while we 'worked.' I thought surely the screaming would keep her awake, but no....I even let them cover her up (as you can imagine this is not such a gentle task for them), still nothing.
A day past grocery day, I had to be creative for lunch. You call it fancy, and it works great. Did you know that when you put ice in apple juice it suddenly becomes 'fancy'? Oh and you can make apple 'smiles' with apple slices and peanut butter. My most creative item of the day...'string cheese spaghetti.'

Make it stop!!
Taylor graduated from preschool this week and she was so proud. I can't believe she is going to kindergarten next year. How do I make it stop? It isn't supposed to go by this quickly!
BTW, I slept almost 5 consecutive hours last night. I feel like a new woman.

Week in Review
First, all I can say is poor kid....I wonder how many times I will be pulling stickers off of her forehead over the next year.

Speaking of completely random outfits. This is Taylor's 'spy' outfit. Lest you miss out on all the intricacies...Cinderella swim goggles on the head, size 0-6 mo sun hat (also on the head), ballet skirt and tights, wool house shoe/sox, a batting glove....Oh the creativity!! This is the result of quiet time. Oh how I love quiet time.

Today, I had a great Mother's day. Shannon offered to cook me breakfast first thing, but all I could say was, "wouldn't you just rather sleep?" so we did...until 7am. Lunch with friends and a quiet/rainy afternoon. Three sweet girls..what else could I ask for? Certainly not a normal photo of all four of us. (at least not for a few more years)
Hope you all had a great Mother's Day too!!
Next, I bet you thought you were finished reading about my proud motherly accomplishments...NOT EVEN CLOSE. I took all three children out in public and didn't lose anyone!! It didn't hurt that I had a buggy equipped with the ability to strap everyone in. Oh and the popcorn was a welcome distraction. Don't mind the fact that two of them are dressed in Razorback cheerleading outfits and one of the cheerleaders is also a cowgirl...They are relatively clean...that's huge!

Anabelle had a birthday party to go to on Saturday. She had a blast (as long as I was within 2 ft of her). This is her and the birthday girl.
This is another buddy of A's. These three girls together are a sight to see.
Thankfully Ms Holli was there to hold Munchkin # 3. What a lifesaver!!

One Month already!
She's already grown so much. In just one month, she went from 7 lbs and 8 oz to 9 lbs and 14 oz. It looks like she is going to be tall like her big sisters. She's in the 90th percentile in height. We just really have to talk her into sleeping a little more at night, or shannon and I might just have to be committed. The picture below cracks me up! First, Anabelle appears to be looking at the camera!!! Actually she's just asking me to hurry up and hand her the pacifier. She is so funny.

Happy Birthday Shannon
Today Shannon turned 33 and the girls took control of the day for him. They picked out very specific gifts for him, made cupcakes, and decorated. What a fun day that we'll remember for a while. This picture doesn't really have much to do with Shannon's birthday, but it was just too funny not to share.

Anabelle had a great time helping with cupcakes. Why she has on a bike helmet, I'm really not sure.

This is A giving Daddy the 'Awesome' ribbon that she bought him. She also got him two screw drivers. Taylor got him one of those little portable fans (with a light) and some sort of pool toy that I'm not sure I understand. They had such a great time picking out gifts. I think we will do that every year.
