Snow/Sleet Days two, three and four....

Now really, did you expect me to have a post for everyday? That's so not how I roll...

Day two involved lots of tent making....

Day three, I said, "OK girls, you've had it good now it's time to get to work." They decided to play Cinderella and they had to work so very hard. :) LOVED IT!
About mid morning we had a bit of a crisis....NURSEMAID's ELBOW struck child number three. For the record, not a fan of nursmaid's elbow. My husband (THE BANKER not Doctor/Therapist) came rushing home to make some elbow adjustments and fix the problem. She was all as good as new. Now we just have to watch for it to happen again....

By Day four, I was annoyed. Everyone else around us had been back in school for two days and I was anticipating going to school until July 4th. Thankfully sweet Miss Beth let us invade her house to play. No pictures sorry. On Friday Taylor finally had school but it didn't start until 10. Now that is the way to do school. ;)

Things are slowly getting back to normal. We did have a very relaxing week and the girls could not get enough of each other. They had a blast!!!!

Snow/Sleet Day one

As of Friday night, the forecast for our house was 4-8 inches of snow. I am one who gets unashamedly excited about snow. I couldn't have been more disappointed when we got about 1/2 an inch of snow and a lot of ice. The kids (read Shannon) still found a way to have fun. Sledding down the driveway! An extra day of Daddy home and no school was a WONDERFUL gift. We had a great time on day one. Day two of no school is going on right now. I hear giggling in the living room. There will be pictures of the tent we made soon. LOVE SNOW days even when there's no snow.

Christmas in Arkansas

Is it me or do they have the same, "Why are you taking our picture" expression?

Anabelle and Cassie bundled up on Christmas day.

Shannon playing with the boys. It's hard to strategize while holding a 1 yr old.

Layers upon layers. It was COLD!!

Mommy, who is this dude you keep calling "uncle jeff." And why are you letting him hold me?
