Have I mentioned how much I love our church?

Taylor and had a fantastic opportunity last weekend to go on a retreat with her church MIT (missionaries in training) group. There were 124 of us moms and girls (first thru fifth grades) who landed on a small camp outside of B'ham. It was awesome! We roasted s'mores and sang songs by the bonfire. We got to hear from teenagers from our church who used to go to MIT camp who are now going to Zambia (one for an entire year after she graduates highschool in May). Our little group of first graders (and moms) were glued to everything they said. It was great to see it click that these were girls just like them who group up to be actual missionaries.
We went on a hike that ended with a beautiful view

And we spent some time making 'trash dolls' out of CLEAN trash. (This germophobe mom was grateful for the clean part) Just like the little girls in Zambia do.
It was a weekend that Taylor and I will not forget anytime soon. I'm already excited for next year.

I hear that everyone back at the house had a pretty great time. It involved, movies, popcorn, toysrus and donuts. How can he go wrong?

These girls.

Yesterday was Wild West day at school. Just the reminder that they are on W week makes me both excited and sad. That means that they are almost through the alphabet and therefore almost finished with school. Next year is Kindergarten. How did that happen??????? But the good news is summer is coming first. Spring Break was just a quick sample of summer and boy am I ready. This girl has inherited her sister's sense on style. The tutu or tutututututu as she calls it has been on her for over 24 hrs straight. I literally left it on and just took her pjs off and put these clothes on. Everything else in this outfit is all her from the bow in the lower picture to the boots. She wore this to the grocery store and to Taylor's gymnastics. And am I ever going to see eyes and a smile at the same time? I donno, but this smile just does me in.

Have I mentioned that I am concerened that Caroline is going to talk as much as Anabelle. Well, it's here. Do you realize how many words that is for a Mom to absorb? A LOT. Here are a few of my favorites.

"I love you too Mommy, to0 Mommy" She just learned to add the 'too mommy' and has to say it twice. Don't know why but I love it!

"Nuggle Minut" I get this at least once a day and I love it!!!!!!

"Mine Awee-ul" This means, please don't sing with me, I am Ariel. And if you have girls you know what comes next. "Ahh ahh ahh ahhh"
