My baby is two..and has been for a while

She turned two on April 6th and someone has some fantastic pictures of her little birthday celebration. (The same someone who is enjoying my camera). But these pictures from my phone tell a lot of her personality.

She is all about a necklace and some shades.

She is constantly telling me she 'looks pwetty.'

She still says 'too mommy, too mommy' after 'I love you.' Unfortunately at this point it is just because she knows I love it and not because she can't say, "I love you too, Mommy."

She LOVES her tutu. Regularly, she wears it for more than 24 hrs straight. She puts it on under dresses, on top of pjs, on top of shorts. It is as much a part of her life as her diaper is and that makes me laugh.

She can sing "God our Faddur, we tank you..."

At least once a day I find her in her room sticking her arm thru the crib hugging her 'nite nite' and sucking her lip. (pictured below)

She is constantly saying, "Weelly, I Need dat." Sometimes she is talking about candy, sometimes she is talking about a sippy cup, but regardless, she Weally Needs it.

When she's ready to get out of bed from nap, she yells, "mommy, knock knock, come in." She's doing that now, so I'll go get her now.

She's OBSESSED with Ariel.

Last Sunday her teacher told us that she wouldn't let anyone call her Caroline. She just kept saying, "mine Liddle bell." She is soooo much like Anabelle it is funny

This picture is the one that comes up on my phone when someone from 'home' is calling me. This IS the definition of home.

We haven't gone anywhere....

My camera is in hiding. I still have hope that it will turn up, but not much hope. In the mean time, please enjoy some pictures that other people have taken of my kiddos. :)

My little fashion queen hasn't changed, still ver particular about what she wears and I love it!!

This clown enjoyed watching Taylor's Spring Sing at church from the middle aisle while eating chocolate goldfish.

Have I mentioned how much I love our church?

Taylor and had a fantastic opportunity last weekend to go on a retreat with her church MIT (missionaries in training) group. There were 124 of us moms and girls (first thru fifth grades) who landed on a small camp outside of B'ham. It was awesome! We roasted s'mores and sang songs by the bonfire. We got to hear from teenagers from our church who used to go to MIT camp who are now going to Zambia (one for an entire year after she graduates highschool in May). Our little group of first graders (and moms) were glued to everything they said. It was great to see it click that these were girls just like them who group up to be actual missionaries.
We went on a hike that ended with a beautiful view

And we spent some time making 'trash dolls' out of CLEAN trash. (This germophobe mom was grateful for the clean part) Just like the little girls in Zambia do.
It was a weekend that Taylor and I will not forget anytime soon. I'm already excited for next year.

I hear that everyone back at the house had a pretty great time. It involved, movies, popcorn, toysrus and donuts. How can he go wrong?

These girls.

Yesterday was Wild West day at school. Just the reminder that they are on W week makes me both excited and sad. That means that they are almost through the alphabet and therefore almost finished with school. Next year is Kindergarten. How did that happen??????? But the good news is summer is coming first. Spring Break was just a quick sample of summer and boy am I ready. This girl has inherited her sister's sense on style. The tutu or tutututututu as she calls it has been on her for over 24 hrs straight. I literally left it on and just took her pjs off and put these clothes on. Everything else in this outfit is all her from the bow in the lower picture to the boots. She wore this to the grocery store and to Taylor's gymnastics. And am I ever going to see eyes and a smile at the same time? I donno, but this smile just does me in.

Have I mentioned that I am concerened that Caroline is going to talk as much as Anabelle. Well, it's here. Do you realize how many words that is for a Mom to absorb? A LOT. Here are a few of my favorites.

"I love you too Mommy, to0 Mommy" She just learned to add the 'too mommy' and has to say it twice. Don't know why but I love it!

"Nuggle Minut" I get this at least once a day and I love it!!!!!!

"Mine Awee-ul" This means, please don't sing with me, I am Ariel. And if you have girls you know what comes next. "Ahh ahh ahh ahhh"

The Beach

I know I've been behind on my blogging duties! Sorry, no excuse, I'll try to do better. We've been at the beach with Papaw and Gran and it was FANTASTIC. Best beach trip ever! From the time we got there, we only left the house once to go to Lamberts (of course) with a short jaunt to the outlet, then back to the beach. Isn't that the definition of perfect? Here, I'll prove it.

Real life

Real life happens when I don't have my camera. I was just looking through the pictures on my phone and realized that sharing these would do a better job of showing what's been going on with us. We are doing great. Lots of giggling around here. Little girls are the best!!!

Anabelle got C dressed in her old leotard and what C calls her "tu-tu-tu-tu-tu-tu" They danced and danced and giggled and giggled!

Bless her heart, she was so industrius by pushing the chair over to help her reach the door knob better. To bad the pantry door opens out.
A LOVES the dentist. She could not quit smiling! It was so funny.
Since we aren't so into superheros around here, we Jumped on 'Miss Bess' idea for A and her buddy Kendall to be Super Target and Super Walmart. Driving by Target Anabelle said, "mommy, if that Target gets sick, I'll help it bc I'm SuperTarget!!"

An impromptu playdate with some of our favorite people turned out to be so fun. Beautiful weather these days! Thank you LORD.

Taylor was so excited about her Valentines care pkg from Aunt Brandi. They all got new Vday shirts. Anabelle was so excited to tell Taylor about the pkg. "Taylor we got at pkg in the mail and it's going to be GOOD bc it's from Aunt Brandi and Uncle Jared." Pretty sure they hung the moon around here.
Caroline helped Shannon and I make a hut for our Global Impact Celebration at church. It is going on this week. Amazing to see missionaries all over the world being treated like rock stars by all the kids at our church. LOVE IT!

Anabelle and her buddy on nursery rhyme day. She's the cat and the fiddle. Apparently my fiddle didn't impress her much bc she chose to go without it. ;)
